Follow Your Passion And Do What You Love
This is another super important mindset to be successful in life.
Have
you ever wondered why some people have the super energy to do
everything even though they have worked for a long hour? This is all
about passion and motivation.
|
|
Think
of something you love to do. It can be golf, it can be computer games,
it can be music, it can be gardening, it can be dining, it can be
swimming and it can be anything that you love to do.
Let me ask you this, when you are doing something that you love, do you
find it great? Do you have all the energy and motivation you need to do
it?
Of course! When you are doing something that you love, you will do it
passionately without saying tired. You won't feel bored or mundane, you
will do it no matter how exhausted you are.
This is the real secret to success.
Do you think that Tiger Woods loves to play golf? Do you think that
Michael Jordan loves basketball? What about Bill Gates? Do you think he
loves softwares? How about Warren Buffett? Do you think he loves
investing?
Can you see the pattern now? Every successful person loves what they do, and that is why they are successful.
And so it is the same for Adam Khoo, one of my favorite success gurus. If you're committed to be successful in your life, he's the one who can help you.
Just where do you think I learned all the secrets of success with? This
guy, Adam Khoo, is one of the youngest self-made millionaires in
Singapore.
He is also one of the top NLP coaches in Asia. If he can help to condition me to achieve my goals and live my dreams with his Master Your Mind system, I believe he can help you as well.
When you are doing something that you love, you will automatically come up with natural motivation.
You don't need to motivate yourself to do it. The source of energy will
come from deep within you and you will be able to accomplish the task
no matter how difficult it is, provided you must be passionate in doing
it.
If you like to play golf, do you think you can wake up 6am early in the morning just for it?
Some people find it difficult to wake up at 6am in the morning. Even if
they successful wake up, they will still feel the lack of energy and
tired. However, if you are passionate in golf and you will have to wake
up at 6am, do you think you will wake up at that time?
Of course you will! Some people can stay up late until 3am in the
morning just for a match of computer games. Where do they get all the
energy? From their passion deep within them.
If you find that you lack the motivation and discipline to become
successful in what you do, the reason is obvious. It is not your
passion! Think about it. Do you have a natural passion for something?
Do you have a hobby? Like playing golf? Playing with children? Did you
ever noticed that by doing what you love, the energy never stop
flowing? Even if you are tired, but you will always find energy to do
what you love.
This is the secret that will bring you unlimited wealth! Whenever you
do something that you love, you will be naturally focused, committed
and energized to work at it. When you give your best to whatever you are crazy about, you will become the best!
Remember what you have learned here. Do what you love and success will follow...

Learning To Take 100% Responsibility
Taking 100% responsibility is one of the most important mindset to be successful in life.
What
are you going to do whenever you face any feedback in your life? Are
you going to blame the whole world and giving lousy excuses, or are you
going to take the responsibility and change?
|
|
You know it very well that in order to be successful in life, you must take the responsibility.
Let me give you an example of what I mean here. Successful people
believe that everything happens on them because they choose to. It is
because of their decision and action that lead them to the kind of
lifestyle they are living today.
On the other hand, if you are struggling through life today, it is
because you’re not in control of your life. Instead, you let all
the circumstances around you take control of you. People will only struggle through life because they are not in control of what happens to them.
Which means, if you’re in control, you’ll feel happy,
you’ll feel satisfy and as a result, you’ll be more
successful.
The key here is, when you take 100% responsibility on what has happened
to you, you will be able to take control of the situation.
For example, if your business go bust, you can either blame the
economy, which you have no control over and thus, let it be. Or you can
choose to take the responsible as you are not doing the right marketing
and you are not converting your prospects into customers well enough.
The latter is the way of successful people. Every successful person
knows that they have to take responsible for what has happened to them.
If they fail to close the sale, it is because of their presentation
skill. They will never blame on the stupid customer or they just don't
have the luck.
Consider this situation, your alarm clock didn’t work and you
oversleep. So you’re late to your workplace. And on the way to
your workplace, you get caught in a heavy traffic. As a result, you end
up getting no parking spaces because all the parking spaces are fully
occupied. So you park your car far away and walk to your workplace.
When you reach your office, you tell your boss about all these things
that you’ve been through the whole morning. Do you think your
boss will care?
No! Why? This is simply because all of these are excuses. And excuses only SOUNDS rational to you. To your boss, it is lousy excuses, not reasons.
If someone tells you, “I could have been a marathon runner, but I
lost my leg in a car accident.” Try to tell that to Denny
Chipollini of Skippack, Pennsylvania. He was in a car accident that
severed both his legs. When you ask him about this he’ll tell you
that he refers to this accident as a ‘gift’ because it
changed his life for the better.
Despite all these odds coming against him, he managed to ran 5
kilometer on his artificial leg. He even found a non-profit
organization called Generation Hope and used his ‘gift’ to
inspire people to overcome all odds and adversity with his ‘no
excuses and no limits’ attitude toward life.
Can you see it now? Do you understand how important taking responsibility can be right now?
If you take full responsibility, you'll definitely have full control
over your life. This is one of the most important lessons that Adam Khoo taught me.
If you're not taking responsibility in your life, you'll never produce
the results you want. You have to always remember this, you are the one
who is going to create your life, not other people.
Just like what Adam taught in his Master Your Mind
system, the one simple reason you need to take full responsibility on
your life is that when you take responsibility, you will have the power to control the situation. And therefore, you are able to change the situation for the better!
Giving excuses and blaming will not give you the power to change. This
is why successful people are producing all the amazing results in their
life, because they have the power to create them.
Always remember what you have read here today. Keep this idea in mind and always take full responsibility of your life.

Put In 100% Commitment
Everything is all about commitment.
If
you don't have the commitment, you will never achieve what you want.
Let me give you a great example of what commitment is all about...
|
|
I take the idea of taking 100% commitment from Adam's Master Your Mind. Once you go through this article, you'll understand how important taking full commitment will be in your life.
The only reason that the movie Star Wars came to existence is because
George Lucas was 100% committed to making his dream come true. Many
people have the perception that Lucas was just a genius who was
fortunate enough to dream up this naturally successful movie.
If you read about the history of Star Wars, you would know that up to
the day of its release, everyone believed that it would be a major
flop, including the actors!
During the production, anything that could have possibly gone wrong
went wrong! At the end of sixteen weeks of filming everyone had every
reason to believe it would fail.
The movie had grossly exceeded the initial budget, it had overrun the
filming schedule, the special effects unit could not create the desired
effects and everyone had the opinion that it was a kiddy movie. As a
result, 20th Century Fox studios wanted to pull the plug and gave Lucas
three days to finish 2 weeks of work that was lost.
What made things worse was that Lucas suffered severe chest pains in
the middle of all this and was warded for severe stress and exhaustion.
Most directors would have given up and cut their losses, knowing that
it was impossible to achieve it all in three days.
If Star Wars had been a ‘wish’, it would have failed there and then. But to Lucas, it was a must…
he would do everything to make it happen. Lucas hired a triple crew,
divided the stage into three sets and directed three scenes
concurrently.
Three days later, Star Wars was delivered and the rest in history. By
the end of its first theatrical run, Star Wars became the most
successful film in North American history.
It grossed a total of $290 million and George Lucas’ cut from the
box office was more than $50 million. As a teenager, Lucas set a goal
of becoming a millionaire at the age of thirty. He was off by two
years; Lucas made his millions by the age of 28.
When it came time to making the sequels ‘Empire Strikes
Back’ and ‘Return of the Jedi’, Lucas rejected the
money offered by Fox studios. He was so committed to making the sequels
an even bigger success, that he took what he earned from his first film
and fully financed Empire Strikes Back for $18 million.
Everyone thought he was crazy as the number one rule as a moviemaker in
Hollywood is to ‘never use your own money, even if it is your own
film’.
His belief and commitment paid off. The next 5 Star Wars films
generated revenues of over $20 billion and today, George Lucas has
amassed a personal fortune of close to $3 billion.
This is what I mean by taking 100% commitment. When you are committed
to something, there is no more other options available to you. When you
are committed to get it done, its a done deal. No question ask. You will do whatever it takes to achieve it. That's commitment!
I know a friend who set a goal to quit smoking. He knew that it was
doing him harm and he really wanted to. Sure enough, he kept
procrastinating year after year.
Suddenly, in 2003, he was diagnosed with lung cancer and told that if
he didn’t stop, he would die in six months. He hasn’t
touched a cigarette since.
You see, when something is a ‘must’, anything can be achieved.
At the same time, when you make financial freedom and security a must
for you and not just a wish, you will achieve it. When something is a
must, our brain gets us to tap our fullest potential to make it happen.
So be 100% committed toward your dreams and goals from now on. Take whatever action necessary to achieve them! |

Be Proactive And Take The First Step
This is the mindset of the people who will make things happen rather than waiting for things to happen.
People
who are proactive are people who take the initiative to make things
happen. When there are no opportunities, proactive people are those
that go out and find opportunities.
|
|
If
they cannot find any, they will create their own opportunities. When
problems get in their way, proactive people will take action to solve
their own problems!
Are you one of them? Are you creating opportunity and making the first step? Or are you waiting for things to happen?
Those who wait for things to happen are those who adopt the reactive
mindset. These type of people tend to wait for changes to happen
instead of making things to happen.
When the Asian currency crisis hit Singapore in 1997, many companies
saw their sales and profits plummet. Many business owners were reactive
and just sat tight and prayed for the bad times to pass.
Instead, Ron Sim, CEO of Osim International (a company that develops
luxury massage chairs) took the proactive action of entering new
markets like Hong Kong and Taiwan.
As a result, his company profits were not only unaffected by the crisis
but they continued to increase. When the Asian economies recovered,
over 60% of Osim’s business came from outside their home country
of Singapore, leading to even higher earnings growth of over 30%!
This is what I called a proactive mindset. If you wait for things to
happen, it will be too late and you will definitely out of business.
By having the proactive mindset, you put yourself in the position of power and choice.
You are in command and will take action that leads to wealth and
success. However, when you act in a reactive pattern, you will find
that your finances will never be within your control.
Be proactive and make things happen now!
